Christy Smith
Christy is a Nana, writer, and advocate whose journey with her grandson Odin inspired Turning Over Every Rock.
Her writing grows from lived experience: the questions that keep caregivers awake, the lessons learned along the way, and the belief that families deserve both acceptance and meaningful support.
Through ORVJ Press, Christy hopes to share stories and practical resources that encourage families to find their voices and keep going, one rock at a time.

ORVJ Press takes its name from Christy’s four grandchildren. Their names are a reminder of the love, hope, and legacy behind every story we choose to tell.

What began with one Nana’s determination to help her grandson became a desire to share what she learned with other families.
ORVJ Press is the publishing imprint for those stories and resources. Turning Over Every Rock is a separate, developing nonprofit initiative focused on advocacy, education, community, and inclusion.
